A man was taken to hospital with a head injury following a two-car crash in Queenborough Road, Halfway.

Paramedics also checked over a woman at the scene.

Witnesses said she appeared to have suffered facial and arm injuries.

The accident, involving a BMW and a Vauxhall Corsa, happened at the junction with Sunnyfield Drive, at around 12.55pm.

A Kent Fire and Rescue was called to the scene to deal with a fuel spill.

A spokesman said: "One female casualty was out of the vehicle when we arrived at the scene.

"Fire crews helped out with first aid."
