Two men have been arrested over alleged drug offences.

The men were arrested during a routine car check in Halfway Road, Halfway, at 11.06am today (Friday).

It happened near Right Price Discount Store and three police cars and a dog unit were involved.

The men have been arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs.

One witness said: "There were lots of police there and they had two men on the floor."
