A man and child are being cared for by medics following an accident.

The three-car crash happened at the Queenborough Corner junction opposite the Aviator pub on Sheppey.

One of the vehicles is said to have suffered extensive damage.

Sheppey fire crews are currently on the scene along with police and ambulance.

It is understood the man and child, who is believed to be aged around 10, were not seriously injured.
