Engineers were seen repairing a burst water main.
Southern Water confirmed they were sent to Minster Road, Minster, Sheppey, yesterday morning after water was seen gushing on the road near the junction with Parsonage Chase.
Temporary traffic lights were also installed to help engineers work safely.
Southern Water spokesman, Simon Fluendy, said: “Our teams are attending to a burst water main on Minster Road, Minster, Sheppey.
"We’re working as quickly as is safe but some customers may be experiencing low pressure at the moment and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
"Due to the Covid-19 crisis, we would politely request any passers-by maintain social distance for everyone’s protection."
It is not been revealed what caused the pipe to burst.
