A Sheppey mum and her daughters have opened an online boutique to prevent others having to travel off the Island to shop.
Julie Dellar and daughters Phoebe, 20, and Maisie, 17, launched We Three Boutique last month.
"It's already taking off," Julie said.
“We've had a lot of support and interest from people both on and off the Island.”
When asked where the online boutique came from, the 44-year-old said: “My daughters and I are always having to travel to Maidstone, Canterbury or Bluewater to find clothing, which is difficult when we’re all so busy.
“Other than New Look and You Women in the town, there’s not much for the 18 to 30 age bracket.
“There's also a lot of Islanders who don’t drive, so we wanted to offer a convenient service to reach all customers.”
She added: “We think online is the way to go nowadays, you're in the comfort of your own home, you don't have to worry about petrol, you can look for what you want and it's easy shopping – no stress or rushing about.”
We Three Boutique stocks a range of clothes including dresses, tops and jackets. It will soon start selling swimwear too.
"It's already taking off... we've had people ordering from Northampton and London" - Julie Dellar
Clothing sizes range from six to 16 and its target market is 16 to 30-year-olds, but "we have styles to suit over 30s too", Julie said.
The trio's aim is to open a high street boutique in the future.
Julie, who also works as a private tutor in Sittingbourne, said: “We did look at a couple of empty premises in Sheerness but we wanted to test our product first and see how it works out.
“But our aim is to open a shop on Sheppey to be loyal to where we live - we need more shops.”
The boutique runs from Julie’s Minster home and orders are made via Instagram and Facebook - there is a plan to launch a website in the near future too.
Julie said: “We deliver on the Island for free but sell all over the UK.
