A 35-year-old dad who was fatally shot at a holiday park has been named.
Police were called to an address at Cliff Cottage Chalet Park at Fourth Avenue in Eastchurch, on Sheppey on Sunday morning where Sam Petrou was found dead.
Three suspects, two men and one woman, were arrested in connection with the death of Mr Petrou and have been bailed.
They all remain under investigation, with conditions, to return to a police station on September 11 pending the outcome of further enquiries.
Sam’s death sparked an outpouring of grief with friends and family sharing their memories on social media to pay tribute.
Dad Nick Petrou wrote: “He was so loved – the amount of posts and heartfelt comments people have put up of him has blown me away.
“I would like to thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my broken heart.”
"For loving my beautiful son Sam from boyhood to manhood and beyond.
“I can remember, like yesterday, when he was born with colic and in pain, and every night I held him in my arms for hours until he fell asleep for six months solid."
Friend Ben Hyland said : "Devastated is an understatement - I can’t remember Sam not smiling and laughing.
“He was such a nice man and would do anything for anyone, so I'm proud to call him my friend - I'm going to miss him dearly."
Another friend added: “Where do I start? I played my first Sunday league match and had my first legal pint with you.
“You looked after me and took me in – I just want to say thank you for letting me be a part of your story.”
Meanwhile, police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Sam’s death.
Detective Inspector Adam Marshall, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: “We are continuing to appeal to drivers who may have been in this area, between 7.30pm and 9pm on Saturday June 10, to check for any dashcam footage which may assist our investigation.
“It is important we identify the movements of people or vehicles in the Warden Road and Fourth Avenue areas, within this time period.”
Mr Petrou was living in south east London at the time of his death.
Since his passing, one suspect, aged in his 50s, was arrested at 1pm on Sunday on suspicion of murder and taken into custody.
A further two suspects were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder - a 42-year-old man from Sidcup and a 33-year-old woman from Greenwich in London.
About 20 police officers were seen investigating near Eastchurch Holiday Centre on Tuesday.
It is not yet know whether the suspects were known to the victim.
