A mother died while on holiday in Egypt with her daughter.
An inquest in Maidstone heard on Thursday how Jacqueline Adams, 46, of Harps Avenue, Minster, had been invited to go on the break at the last minute when a space became available.
But on Wednesday, April 27, her daughter Natalie Alford awoke and discovered her mother had died in bed in the next room.
A post-mortem examination at Medway Maritime Hospital could not discover the exact cause of death but found there had been a narrowing of Mrs Adams’ arteries.
Her GP also said Mrs Adams had complained of headaches, nose bleeds and chest pains in the past.
Coroner Patricia Harding heard that on April 18 Mrs Adams, who lived with her husband Shaun, had been taken on holiday to Hurghada, Egypt.
Also in the party were Natalie’s fiancé and her daughter.
They enjoyed days by the pool and meals in the evening.
On April 25 the party went for an evening meal and Mrs Adams complained of a headache and pain in her ankle.
On April 26 the family went to bed at 11.30pm. The following morning Natalie found her mother’s body.
The coroner recorded a narrative verdict that Mrs Adams died on holiday of natural causes which could not be determined.
