Freshwater angler Dave Sage from Sheerness finished the year as he started with a deserved win in the Metro Musketeer’s final fishing competition of the year.

Sage, one of the Island’s top freshwater match anglers, accumulated 177 points from a possible 200 in the 10-match series.

Keeping success in the family, son Kirin finished second overall for the year in the club’s junior section with 190 points - three behind the top junior of the year.
