Two fire crews tackled a blaze in Queenborough early today.

The fire service was called to a container of rubbish alight beside industrial units in Rushenden Road, which also affected the interior of two units used as car body workshops.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus gained access to the units and extinguished the fire.

The cause is not yet known and there were no reported casualties.

The call was received at 12.50am and firefighters left the area at 1.45am.
