Residents awoke this morning to find two fridges dumped in their road overnight.
Fly-tippers struck in Saxon Avenue, Minster, on the Isle of Sheppey in the early hours and left two fridge-freezers in the middle of the road.
One was left at the junction with The Broadway and the other was at the junction with Glenwood Drive. It is the second incident like this neighbours have suffered since the start of the year.
The thugs were caught red-handed on a security camera at 4.18am this morning.
Swale council has been notified.
A neighbour said: "This is a disgusting thing to do.
"Dumping them anywhere is bad enough but tipping them into the middle of the road is totally irresponsible. They are scumbags.
"Apart from the council having to send a team to take the fridges away, they pose a very real danger to motorists. Any car could have crashed into them in the dark."
CCTV footage shows two men chucking the fridges out of the back of a white Transit-style van.
Drivers were warned to take care until the fridges were collected.
A spokesman for Swale council said: "We are aware of the fridge-freezer and fridge that were illegally dumped in the road at Saxon Avenue in Minster this morning and have reported it to KCC who are responsible for removing any fly-tipping on local highways.
“Fly-tipping is illegal and a waste of council resources, especially during this time when workers are pulling together to make sure we can continue to deliver other essential services for residents.
"We urge anybody who may have any information to contact us at 01795 417850.”
