Quilters are holding a garden-themed display at the Sheppey Gateway this month.
Island-based Bright Headland Quilters has been going for four years and now has more than 30 members.
This is the second time the Quilters have exhibited their handiwork and this year they decided to go with a green-thumbed theme.
After last year, the group decided to hold a yearly challenge and the public are now asked to vote for their favourite piece by writing it down on some paper and putting it in a small pouch.
The winner will get to choose the contest next year and she will also get a bag full of fat quarters - pieces of material of different colours and styles.
The prize was donated by another quilt club in Australia, which is in frequent contact with Bright Headland Quilters.
A representative from Down Under dropped it off during a visit to the Island earlier this year.
Chairman Vickie Foreman, 65, is proud of this year’s crop.
She said: “I think they are lovely. There are so many different sorts and different levels of skill but everyone has amazed me with how they have interpreted the theme.
“There is one lady who has done a quilt of snails and another which is of birds on a washing line.”
The exhibition, in the library at the Sheppey Gateway, High Street, Sheerness, opened on June 24 and continues until July 26.
The group meets at Trinity Church Hall, Trinity Road, Sheerness, on the first Thursday of every month at 10am and then on the third Thursday at 7.30pm.
Members raise money throughout the year for charities, including the British Heart Foundation.
