Sheerness boxer Gavin Tait made a successful return to the ring recently with a points victory over Johnny Greaves at York Hall, Bethnal Green.

The welterweight bout was Tait’s first in nine months and he made it three successive wins after the judges awarded him the fight at the end of the four-round contest.

Tait’s previous outing was in September last year when he won, again on points, against Baz Carey.

It was Tait’s 16th professional career fight, with eight wins and eight defeats to his name.
