A group of gypsies who were moved on from near a children's play park have set up camp elsewhere.

Residents reported seeing caravans arrive in the field at the top of Abbey Rise, Minster, at the weekend.

They were moved on after it was reported to Swale council, which sent out an environmental response manager.

But the travellers have now set up on wasteland belonging to Bovis Homes at the bottom of Thistle Hill Way.

A spokesman for Swale council said as it is private land it is down to the land owner to move them on.

It is thought they will be there until Sunday.
