The Kingsferry Bridge will not be lifted until at least 7pm this evening.

Because of the recent hot weather, Network Rail has decided to leave the bridge in the down position.

A spokesman said as soon as the temperature drops and they are able to raise it, they will.

The next assessment is due to take place at around 7pm.
