A £200 clean-up operation has taken place after travellers set up camp at a park.
The group arrived on the Thistle Hill Estate, opposite the entrance to Thistle Hill Community Woodland in Minster, on Wednesday.
It is thought they left the following day.
Police confirmed they were called at 11.32pm and officers spoke to the landowner and the people who had moved in.
A Swale council spokesman, which maintains the land, said: "We collected about 15 black bags during the clean-up and a litter pick of the site.
"This hasn’t been costed yet, but it is likely to have costed about £200 to clear the rubbish.
"We’re re-securing the site, and will review access arrangements to see if we can try to prevent it happening again."
Cllr Elliott Jayes (Swale Independents), who represents the ward, said: "I arranged with Swale to have a cleansing team on site today to tidy up.
"I inspected the damage last night and returned this morning to check before and after the cleansing team had been
