Firefighters spent four hours tackling a huge grass fire in Minster on Thursday.
Four crews from Sheppey and Sittingbourne were on the scene.
The fire spread on wasteland behind Appleford Drive in Minster and started at about noon.
Firefighters used several hose reels and a hydrant to tackle the blaze.
EDF Energy engineers also attended to check a nearby overhead cable.
Strong winds were hampering the efforts of the firefighters but they had put the fire out by about 4pm.
