Man ‘attacked and robbed’ by unknown group after walking along Plough Road, Minster

A man says he was “attacked and robbed” by a group of men as he walked along a path.

Police have launched an investigation after a report of a mugging in Plough Road, Minster.

It happened between 7.20pm and 7.30pm on Monday (December 30).

The victim, a man in his 40s, had been walking along the road when he was allegedly assaulted by two or three unknown men who had stolen his wallet, cash and mobile phone.

The suspects then ran from the scene, heading towards Eastchurch.

An investigation is underway and anyone with information that may assist is urged to contact Kent Police on 01795 419119, quoting reference 46/220650/24.

Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are also asked to check for relevant footage.
