Sheppey's Blaize China has secured herself a place in The Voice UK's knockout round.
The 21-year-old, who lives in Leysdown, Sheppey, went up against fellow contestant Claudillea Holloway on last night's episode in a battle for a spot in the next stage of the contest.

During the show's blind auditions last month, Blaize wowed judges Olly Murs, Meghan Trainor, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones and all four of them turned in their chairs before asking her to join their teams.
She chose to join Team Meghan.
Last night saw the start of the 'battle' rounds, which sees the coaches pick two of their own team members to go up against each other and sing the same song together.
Speaking beforehand, Blaize said: "At my blind audition I gave it my all and ended up getting four chairs. It was crazy, it meant the world to me.
"In order to stand out [tonight], I need to bring all the sass. This is my time and I'm going to make it happen."
Blaize and Claudillea, from Cambridgeshire, sang The Greatest by Sia, before Blaize was chosen by Meghan to go through to the knockout round, where she will perform a song of her choice with a place in the final at stake.
Meanwhile, Blaize's competitor Claudillea, who impressed judges with her operatic vocals, had the chance to be 'stolen' by the other coaches and was saved by will.i.am.
Speaking to Kent Online about the performance, Blaize said: "Walking out on the stage, I was confident but nervous at the same time.
"Not only do you have to perform in front of all these people, you have to perform well with someone else and shine on your own.
"I just knew I had to show the judges I was a singer as well as an artist, that was the goal."
Blaize said last night was the first time she had watched her performance back.
"Watching it back was crazy," she said. "It's just crazy that I am actually on TV."
When asked how it felt to win the battle, she said: "It was so overwhelming. I just remember thinking 'oh my gosh, I'm a step closer'. My whole body was shaking."
Blaize, a packer for the Easylife Group in Sittingbourne, says her dream is to be a singer-songwriter.
"I realised I could sing when I was about six," she said. "I started pursuing music properly when I was at secondary school - that's when I realised this was actually what I wanted to do."
"The response I have received from everyone has been amazing," she added.
"Everyone has been so lovely and so supportive.
"I was in B&M earlier and a woman recognised me and wanted to take a photo for her daughter.
"It's so surreal."
Meanwhile, Dartford florist Millie Bowell is set to appear on the hit ITV singing show on Saturday, February 29. The 23-year-old was chosen to join Team Olly in the final round of the blind auditions earlier this month.
The winner of The Voice UK will get a record deal with Polydor Records.
