The latest business to open on a £30 million retail development has welcomed its first customers today.

Iceland supermarket started trading this morning in Neats Court, Queenborough.

Around 20 jobs have been created on the Island as a result and the company’s Sheerness High Street branch will remain open.

Store manager Adam Sharp said: "We are delighted to be opening our new store on Neats Court Retail Park.

"To celebrate the opening, every customer who shops with us on opening day will get a free Strawberry Cheesecake."
