A nationwide competition has been won by an Islander.

Home furnishings shop Dunelm Mill ran a prize draw across its 90 stores, and the chosen winner was a shopper at the Sittingbourne Retail Park store.

Teresa Bennett, from James Street, Sheerness, won £500 in Dunelm vouchers, and she was given her prize at a presentation on Tuesday.

There were also 10 runner up prizes of £50 vouchers.

Teresa, 54, said: “I was quite shocked as I never win anything so it was quite an achievement.

“It will help towards Christmas and there’s always things I want for the home.”
