Kind-hearted schoolchildren and their parents have donated unwanted belongings to help others and boost funds.
Minster Primary took part in Phil the Bag, a recycling initiative to turn their things into cash for the school.
Anything from clothing, shoes and handbags to curtains, towels and bedding was requested.
Bags were sent home to the children and dozens of them came back full.
These were collected in the playground of the Brecon Chase site yesterday (Tuesday) by the organisation, which will pay the school by the ton and the money will be used to benefit the children.
The textiles are then sold on and given out to people in need in developing countries, and it also stops the materials going into landfill.
It was organised by the PTA and treasurer Karen Nixon said: “We don’t know how much we are going to get yet, but there was lots there.
“I would like to say thank you to everyone that donated and also remind people we’ll be doing it again next year.”
