POLICE have arrested a woman on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Sheerness. The 21-year-old woman, who lives in High Street, Sheerness, was in custody today being questioned by detectives.
A paramedic team was called to tend to the 30-year-old victim. The man, who was conscious, was taken to Medway Hospital in Gillingham for emergency surgery. His condition this morning was critical but stable.
The incident is believed to have happened in premises in Sheerness High Street just before 7.30pm last night. Police cordoned off the area as part of their inquiries.
