Police have arrested a man amid claims commercial aircraft were endangered by a laser pen being shone.

It's claimed a green laser light was targeting planes flying over Sheppey.

Police were called to the Island at around 8pm on Saturday, January 30.

A 45-year-old man from Sheppey has been arrested on suspicion of endangering aircraft and bailed until March 14.
