A police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called By South East Coast Ambulance Service to a medical incident at 11.34am on Tuesday.

“Officers attended the scene where a man in his 30s was confirmed to be deceased.

“At this stage, the death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report has been completed for the coroner.

A KentOnline reporter at the scene on Tuesday described forensics heading into a home inside the cordon and around two police vehicles.

One witness described seeing emergency services earlier in the day down the road before being told to move back.

The ambulance service said it couldn’t comment as the call was to a private address.
