Terry Blackwell, of Coronation Drive, Leysdown, charged with manslaughter of Linda Frost

A man has appeared in court accused of manslaughter after a woman died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Terry Blackwell, 64, is alleged to have caused the death of pensioner Linda Frost in Coronation Drive, Leysdown, in April last year.

Blackwell, also of Coronation Drive, will return to Maidstone Crown Court on April 23 to enter a plea. A trial date has been set for October 5. Bail was continued.

An inquest found the cause of death was hypoxic brain injury - irreversible brain damage caused by a lack of blood containing oxygen – and carbon monoxide inhalation.
