A man ended up in hospital after he was allegedly punched and stamped on by a gang of men – one of which was armed.
Police today issued an appeal for help finding one of the suspects, following the assault in Main Road, Queenborough three months ago.
The victim, who is in his 20s, was approached by three men on Saturday, June 10, at around 6.20 pm, where it is alleged he was punched and stamped upon.
One suspect is also said to have lunged at him with a knife. He suffered injuries to his face, head and back that required hospital treatment.
As part of their inquiries, two potential suspects have been interviewed but the force has not been able to find the third.
PC Stuart Drakeley, of Sittingbourne CID, said: “Our extensive inquiries including examination of CCTV footage and house-to-house checks, have led us to interview two potential suspects, both local men in their 20s. They remain under investigation.
“We have not yet been able to identify the third suspect. We have spoken to several witnesses and now believe there may be other people with important information who are yet to come forward.”
