Minster face a crunch match at home to Orpington on Saturday knowing that a slip-up could drag them into a relegation scrap.
Orpington, who have won their last two games, are second from bottom, occupying one of two relegation places on 120 points, with Minster four places and 14 points better off.
A win for Orpington could see them leapfrog Minster and leave the Island side in a perilous position, while victory for the hosts should give them enough breathing space ahead of the final four Kent League, Division 2 games of the season.
Minster must still play runaway leading pair Tenterden and Broadstairs before the season is out.
It promises to be a tense affair this weekend but captain James White is confident his side can emerge victorious.
White said: "It’s going to be a big game. There is hardly anything in it from fifth position to second bottom.
"They are going to be up for it and we know we need to do a job and hopefully the other results will go our way.
"When we played them last I wasn’t too impressed but they have had a couple of wins recently and I’m not sure if they’ve changed their ways.
"It’s looking like a tough game but as long as our guys are up for it, I’m sure we can get a result."
