A crash involving a moped caused rush-hour delays this afternoon.

The accident happened around 4pm on the A249 at Cowstead Corner, near its junction with the Lower Road, Minster.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.

Traffic built up in the area, but all was clear by 5.15pm.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said one ambulance crew was still at the scene at 5pm.
