A parent at a Minster school was arrested after being drunk and disorderly.

Police were called to St George’s primary, off Chequers Road, to an incident involving a woman in the main lobby last Thursday at around 4.55pm.

A number of parents witnessed an argument and the school wrote to parents about the incident.

A 33-year-old woman from Queenborough was issued with a penalty notice and will have to pay a £90 fine.
