A man has become the second teenager to be arrested on suspicion of murdering a man found dead on an Isle of Sheppey beach.
Gary Pocock, 34, was discovered beaten to death and naked from the waist down at Warden Bay earlier this month.
A 19-year-old man, from Warden on Sheppey, was held last night by murder squad detectives and remains in custody today along with four others.
Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate made a series of arrests earlier yesterday in connection with the investigation.
A 15-year old boy, also from Warden, was arrested along with the three men.
They are two men, aged 20 and 44, from Manor Park in London and a 20-year-old man from Benfleet in Essex.
All four were arrested on suspicion of murder and are still being questioned by detectives today.
Police were called just before 6am on Wednesday to Warden Bay Road after a body was found on the beach between Little Groves caravan site and Isle of Sheppey Holiday Village.
A post mortem examination concluded Mr Pocock, from Dagenham in Essex, died of "significant" head injuries.
Three people - two men and a woman - were previously arrested on suspicion of Mr Pocock's murder, but later released without charge.
Witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to phone police on 101, quoting CAD 07-0167, or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
