A NEW supermarket will open its doors tomorrow (Thursday) on Sheppey.

Aldi, in Millennium Way, Sheerness, was originally due to open before Christmas after a planning wrangle with Swale Borough Council over the design of the building was resolved. But then there were further delays.

On Wednesday, February 9, the mayor of Swale, Cllr Colin Prescott, and his wife Pamela will plant a tree outside the store to mark the opening.
