Pupils from two Sheerness schools took part in a week of activities designed to teach them about business and enterprise.
Year 6 children from Rose Street and West Minster primaries, which make up the Sheerness West Federation, spent time at Canterbury College Swale Campus last week.
A total of 78 children took part. They were divided into eight teams and given a series of tasks that culminated in producing a mock games console.
As well as designing the system, the candidates had to negotiate loans with bank managers and haggle with suppliers for the component parts.
The 10 to 11-year-olds also had to appoint a managing director and a finance and sales manager.
They then had to present their ideas to the Mayor of Swale, Cllr Sue Gent.
Julie Holmes, head of school at Rose Street, said: “It was really involved and they really worked very hard.
“They mixed well together in groups and amongst themselves. The winning team had a very good sales pitch, very good presentation and design.”
Their idea was to create a console controlled by head movements to allow it to be used by disabled people.
