Staff at a nursery are celebrating after being told they are in the top one per cent of nurseries in the country following a recent Ofsted report.
The unannounced visit from the child care regulators resulted in Happy Days nursery in Iwade being awarded outstanding in all 14 areas.
The nursery is owned by Collette Pridmore and Sue McGoldrick
Mrs Pridmore said: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff and our parents, who help make Happy Days what it is.
"The sun shone and our children came across to the Ofsted inspector as confident, happy and well balanced children who thoroughly enjoy their time at Happy Days.
"Where do we go now – the answer is simple – there is no going back, we will all continue our commitment to our parents and children and strive to maintain the high standards that have been recognised by Ofsted."
