West Minster’s Got Talent produced a popular winner.
With 147 votes, Alfie Cox was declared the clear victor of the primary’s annual show, now in its fifth year.
The youngster’s robot dance topped the poll, with Macy Wood’s rendition of Taylor Swift’s, Shake it Off, finishing in the runner’s up spot.
Prizes donated by the Island Performing Arts Group included a term’s free membership to the group for the winner.
Librarian Debi Sands, who organised the contest, said: “It was the best talent show yet.
“Thanks to the children, it flowed very well and everyone who took part put their all into it.
“Well done to all contestants and we’re already looking forward to next year’s performance.”
