Police were called to an assault in Minster this evening.

Four police cars, a police van and an ambulance were sent to Fleetwood Close, Minster, after reports of a disturbance at 6.50pm.

Officers found two men in Minster Road, one of whom was taken to hospital by ambulance.

An eyewitness who drove past the property later, at about 8.30pm, said the police van had gone but a forensics team was on the scene.

One man has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
