DETECTIVES have been given more time to question a sixth person arrested on suspicion of the murder of black teenager Christopher Alaneme in Sheerness and the attempted murder of another man.
The 29-year-old man walked into a London police station with his solicitor on Friday when he was arrested.
Magistrates on Sunday afternoon granted detectives a further 36 hours to detain the man in custody.
Four other men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and have been bailed. One other man has been arrested in connection with the investigation and has also been bailed.
Detectives say they think the fatal stabbing of 18-year-old Christopher was racially motivated.
