Police are hunting a man after a woman was reportedly punched in the face early yesterday.

Officers were called to the disturbance in Minster Road, Minster, near The Harps Inn, at just after 12.30am.

The victim, who is in her 40s, was treated for cuts and bruises.

A police spokesman said inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
