Engineers are in Minster this morning after a tree fell onto an electricity pole.

UK Power Networks was called at 7.45am to reports of the incident in Plough Road.

Two properties are experiencing flickering supplies and staff are on the scene to check the damage and make the equipment safe.

A spokesman apologised for any inconvenience caused.
