Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey pupils held an impressive fundraising feet.
Sock it to Cancer was organised by Year 7 Maisie Musk whose father has been diagnosed with the disease.
He’s being treated at Surrey’s Royal Marsden Hospital which is where monies raised will be go.
It involved students paying a small fee to wear funny-coloured socks for the day.
Academy spokesman, Marion Jones, said donations are still being counted, but the initiative was a fun-filled success.
She said: “Maisie wanted to do something to say thank you to the hospital for looking after her dad.
“The fundraiser was well supported. One member of staff forgot to bring her socks and painted a pair on her feet.”
