Work to repair the safety barriers on the A249 will start tonight (Thursday).

The work will be happening between 8.30pm and 6.30am tomorrow (Friday).

The outside lane of the northbound A249 towards Sheerness will be closed behind the Grovehurst junction and the Sheppey Crossing.

Also the inside lane of the northbound A249 towards Sheerness will be closed between Cowstead and Neatscourt roundabouts.
