Part of a Minster road was closed for almost four hours this morning after an accident.

A Toyota Prius and Ford Transit van collided in Wards Hill Road at 6.40am.

Although the road was not blocked by the collision, police closed it between the junctions with Minster Drive and The Broadway, as the Toyota needed to be taken away on a tow truck.

No one was injured.
