Sheerness East Youth under-13s (pictured) came away from the Kent County FA Club Festival victorious.

The KCFA were celebrating the success of some of the county’s most progressive clubs at the Kicks Soccer Centre in Strood.

East beat Swanscombe Tigers in the under-13 event after making it through the group stages and a semi-final match.

The invitation-only 5-a-side pre-season tournament included teams from all over the county who
were from FA Charter Standard Clubs.

As well as the winning trophy, the team were also awarded Umbro equipment and kit vouchers.
