The Sheppey Crossing has reopened after it was shut for more than two hours this afternoon.
It was closed Island-bound at 12.45pm after police were called to an HGV with a punctured tyre.
Drivers were diverted over the Kingsferry Bridge but roadworks there caused miles of tail-backs.
The crossing was reopened at 3pm.
