Sheppey try to gain possession of the ball during a 12-10 defeat to Old Olavians
Sheppey made an official complaint to the Kent Referees Society after their latest Kent 1 defeat.
The Islanders had three players sent-off by referee David Craggs in the 12-10 defeat to Old Olavians.
The farcical scenes at The Ditch left Davis considering whether to take his team from the pitch and he was seething after Sheppey failed to register their first league win of the campaign.
Davis said: "Even the Old Olavians players were walking off afterwards and apologising for winning the game.
"We also went over three or four times but they were pulled back for non-events. It was so bad that halfway through the second half I considered taking the team off.
"The only thing stopping me was that even with 12 or 13 players we were still in it to win it but the referee just did not let us play."
Expectations were high for the hosts, with Steve Croall making his debut, but a woeful start by Sheppey saw the Old Boys score all of their points in the opening eight minutes.
Danny Bull was the first to be sent to the bin and Jordan Thompson was yellow carded soon after.
Sheppey hit back with a try from Croall to end the half 12-5 down.
In the second half, Bull was shown a second yellow and asked to leave the field. Croall added a second try but his afternoon then went downhill when he was sin binned with 13 minutes remaining.
Sheppey have decided against disciplining any of the players sent-off and will await the outcome of their complaint.
This Saturday Sheppey are at home again, this time to face Vigo.
