CCTV footage from inside a taxi has been released in the hunt for men who smashed its window and allegedly stole items from inside.
The MG 6 was targeted in Imperial Drive, Warden Bay, just before 2.25am today.
Footage filmed on a camera inside the vehicle shows two men approach and smash the rear driver’s side window before running away when the alarm starts to go off.

They then return about seven minutes later. One of them reaches through and is seen taking something from between the two front seats.
The car was one of six belonging to Island taxi firm iCars and has a message written on the side warning potential thieves it has been fitted with CCTV.
Company owner Tony Stevens said a wallet and taxi change, which could be anything between £50 and £100, were taken.
But he also has to take into account repair costs and lost revenue from one of his cars being out of order.

He said: “I’m not going to be able to service my customers having a car less on the road but more to the point it’s your community that have done this to you, people who you live with.”
Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident.
