Officers are appealing for information after a teenage girl was assaulted near a beach.
It is reported that between 8pm and 8.30pm yesterday, the victim was confronted by four youths - two girls and two boys - on The Leas, Minster-on-Sea.
They verbally abused her before one of the boys kicked her leg, causing her to fall to the floor.
The suspects are all described as white and in their mid to late teens.
One of the boys was around 5ft 4ins with mousey blond hair, and was wearing a black Nike baseball cap, a dark jacket, a blue t-shirt, and black trousers. He was also wearing Nike trainers.
The other boy was around 5ft 5ins with short, dark, curly hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, grey fleece shorts, and grey trainers.
The girls were both around 5ft 6ins. One of them was of medium build with blonde hair tied in a pony tail. She was wearing blue jeans and a white top.
The other girl was wearing white jeans and a pale blue top.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time.
