A teenager has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked in Sheerness town centre.
Police were called to the High Street at about 11.20am after reports of an assault.

It happened near the Belle and Lion Wetherspoon pub.
The victim, who was thought to have been riding his bike at the time, was put in an ambulance and driven a short distance to Beachfields, where the air ambulance had landed.
Medics worked to stabilise the patient before the helicopter took off at about 1.10pm.
It is understood it was destined for King's College Hospital in London.
Police cordoned off a section of the High Street from Russell Street to Victory Street.
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman confirmed its medics has attended following reports of an assault.
A police spokesman said: "One person has been taken to a London hospital by air ambulance with injuries and officers remain at the scene carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
"No arrests have been made."
Forensics officers have been called in to investigate and the victim has since been named with his dad speaking out.
