Train services between two towns were forced to be suspended.
Passengers were unable to travel between Sheerness-on-Sea and Sittingbourne after a boat hit a bridge.
Southeastern arranged replacement buses to run on the route for those who were affected.
It has now been confirmed trains are now running again.
The first route which resumed was the 12:47pm service from Sheerness to Sittingbourne.
Meanwhile the first train to the Island will set off from Sittingbourne at 1.23pm.
