A TEENAGE girl accused of murdering her boyfriend will not stand trial until next February.

Kirsty Scamp, of High Street, Sheerness, was due to have her case heard on September 4, but Maidstone Crown Court heard today that it was not ready to proceed.

Judge Andrew Patience, QC, said no other courts were able to accommodate the trial this year.

Jason Bull, who lived with 19-year-old Scamp, suffered fatal stab wounds in Beach Street, Sheerness, on his 28th birthday.

Scamp, who was not present for the brief hearing, has been remanded in custody. The trial is now due to start on February 12.
