Classmates are to hold a vigil in memory of a popular teenager who died suddenly.
Friends have named him locally as 15-year-old Emre Huseyin who was a pupil at the Oasis Academy on the Isle of Sheppey.
Oasis founder the Rev Steve Chalke said: "This is a terrible tragedy. He was so much a part of the school. The whole academy community is grieving.
"We are putting in place a raft of actions to help students and staff at this time of loss.
"We are also very mindful of his family. This has come like a bolt out of the blue. We are all shocked.
"We are cooperating with the police and have invited them into the academy. At the moment, the inquiry is in their hands."
Emre, who was a week away from his 16th birthday, reportedly fell ill while walking home on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to a house in Berridge Road around 6pm.
Police spokesman James Walker said: "We were called to an address in Sheerness at 5.55pm on Saturday where South East Coast Ambulance Service was dealing with a medical incident.
"A teenage boy was subsequently taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased later the same day.
"A second boy, who was at a different location in Sheerness, was also taken to a local hospital and has subsequently been discharged."
Mr Walker added: "The death is not being treated as suspicious. Officers are conducting enquiries in order to prepare a report for the coroner."
Police were unable to confirm any names.
Officers arrested a teenage boy from Orpington on suspicion of drug supply offences on Saturday. He has been bailed, pending further enquiries until Wednesday, February 26.
A second teenage boy, from Sidcup, was arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences this morning (Monday). He remains in custody as enquiries continue.
Ben Cowdrey, director of communications at the Oasis Community Learning Trust, said: "The Academy has learnt of the tragic and untimely death of one of our students.
"We are in contact with their immediate family and are providing support during this extremely difficult time.
"We have conveyed our sincere condolences and share in their grief at this sad news.
"We will be making every provision at the Academy to support our pupils and staff today and throughout the coming days and weeks."
Emre was a popular member of the secondary school in Minster Road, Minster, and took part in running its award-winning Dementia Cafe.
He also attended the Sheppey Community Development Forum meetings as a pupil representative.
Friends are planning to hold a vigil in his memory at New Road playing fields, Sheerness on Thursday from 5pm.
On Monday, pupils were given a letter from principal Tina Lee to take home to their parents explaining that specially trained staff were on site at this "sad and challenging time."
She wrote: "I wanted to share this information with you as soon as possible so that you might be able to speak with your son or daughter, if appropriate, and offer them any additional support they may need.
"Many will know this young person. This will, of course, be a dreadful shock."
